Find a moment in an interview. Break a product demo into scenes. Turn clips from several videos into a finished reel.

Jockey, TwelveLabs’ video intelligence agent, helps you do this through conversation. With general availability, Jockey adds ChatGPT support, easier video imports, clearer visual results, and more control over the clips you edit and share.

Here are seven updates to explore.

1. Jockey is available in ChatGPT, in addition to Claude

Jockey is now available in ChatGPT through its MCP connection, in addition to Claude. Connect your TwelveLabs account, choose a video collection, and start asking questions. You can search your library, review relevant moments, and work with video results inside your conversation.

For example: “Find the moments across these videos where the product is shown in use.”

Connect Jockey in ChatGPT and choose Try in chat.

You can bring videos into Jockey by sharing a supported public URL. Start with a public YouTube video, such as a product demo, interview, or tutorial. You can also use a direct link to a publicly accessible video file, such as an MP4 hosted on your company’s website.

Paste one or more links and ask: “Add these videos to my campaign collection.”

For videos on your computer, ask Jockey for an upload link. It opens the upload page for your chosen collection, where you can add your files. Once processing finishes, continue asking questions about them in chat.

3. See scene breakdowns directly in your conversation

Ask Jockey to break down a video, and explore the result as an interactive visual answer inside ChatGPT or Claude. Scene previews, descriptions, and video references now appear directly in your conversation.

Try: “Break this video into scenes and describe what happens in each one.”

You can scan the breakdown, identify a scene, and inspect the relevant footage. This makes it easier to understand how a video is structured or choose moments for a new edit.

4. Find moments by what people say

Jockey can search spoken content and use transcripts to support its answers. That helps when the moment you need is defined by a conversation: a customer explaining a problem, a presenter describing a feature, or an interviewee discussing a particular topic.

For example: “Find the parts of these interviews where people explain why they switched products.”

Jockey can surface relevant moments and answer questions with references you can check against the video. You can review the discussion behind an answer and decide which excerpts to use.

5. Keep precise clip start and end points

When Jockey assembles clips into a reel, it preserves timing down to fractions of a second. A clip selected from 12.4 seconds to 16.8 seconds keeps those boundaries instead of being rounded to whole seconds. Those small differences matter when you want to preserve the end of a sentence or start a clip just as an action begins.

Your selected moments carry through more precisely into the assembled video.

6. Trim clips and change their order

Once Jockey has assembled a reel, you can refine it in the timeline. Trim a clip’s beginning or end, drag clips into a different order, and scrub through the sequence to review how it plays.

Move the strongest moment to the opening. Shorten a section that runs too long. Rearrange the clips so the story makes sense. You can move from finding footage to shaping the final sequence within the Jockey workflow.

7. Export an MP4 or share a Jockey artifact

When your reel is ready, export it as an MP4 for a presentation, campaign, or social post. You can also save and share supported Jockey results as artifacts. An artifact gives others a link to reopen the result and review its supporting video references beyond the original conversation.

Use an MP4 when you need a finished video file. Share an artifact when you want someone to explore the findings and footage behind your work.

The completed reel is ready to download as an MP4. This screenshot shows the export workflow.

Put Jockey to work on a video you already have. Connect it in ChatGPT or Claude, add a product demo, interview, or campaign video, and ask: “Find three moments worth sharing and show me the clips.” Review the results, build a reel from your selections, and refine it before exporting an MP4 or sharing a Jockey artifact with your team.
